Scott Willis, the director of “The Woodmans,” a new documentary that sketches a poignant portrait of Woodman’s family and how they’ve coped with her death. “You look at the pictures in the beginning and you say, ‘Is this just a suicide note?’ When you really read her diaries and put those up against what she was doing, trying to divine her intentions, what you realize is that she was full of joy.”
