“An installation of numerous large and small fragments of Styrofoam, like an explosion in moments. The installation shows the transient form of an object at a turning point between being and non-being – something you can not live normally.I held a moment in time. This moment of transition between existence and non-existence has, for me, a Buddhist background.
.
The perception of time is variable. The explosion will stop the normal flow, rips a hole in time. The explosion is not lost the form, but the time has been lost.
.
At the end of life may have been intended, the idea of impermanence, the perception and life seems short and vain, just like a moment. This is a core concept in Buddhist philosophy, referred to by the installation in an ironic way, respect.” – Source
